No!! Meiryo UI changes the Windows system font settings. Since its introduction in 2012 since Windows 8 discontinued system font settings control panel applet.
The Windows system font settings are used in Win32/WinForms programs such as Winfdows file Icons, Mozilla Thunderbird’s mail list, and many more.
You can change the fonts in software that using the system font on Windows 8/10/11.
